Summary
What you will be doing
Network Manager is responsible for the scouting, contracting, monitoring and development of distributors (and other partners) in the dedicated region of responsibility. It implements the Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Rolls-Royce Solution Middle East standards/regulations and supervise contractual, administrative and process related topics related to partners. Main goal to enhance performance of distributors both in sales and service, as well as to meet end-customer requirements and internal KPIs.
Responsibilities And Duties
Cover and report regarding Middle East Distribution (Network):
Local Network Strategy definition
Ensure that day to day supervision of distributors and respective contracts are in place
Sales Budget Achievement: regular follow up with each Distributor, analysis of results, definition, and implementation of measures
Distributor Governance: Individual KPI’s definition, follow up KPI’s and Budget Process (consolidation, analyses. approval)
Participation in definition of required operational contracts templates and conducting negotiations/contracting distributors and service partners. Granted rights to involve/request specialists from other SME departments for preparation of contractual demands and administration of contracts related to their functional responsibilities.
Responsible for performance of audits: preparation, execution, summary reports, definition of the development steps (and required improvements). Compliance review in the role as “adviser” of the Network. Granted rights to involve specialists from other SME departments for execution of audits.
Responsible for evaluation of distributors performance. Preparation of recommendations for contracts extension. Participation in review of appropriate/market hourly rates for warranty work as well as in definition of the discounts.
Ongoing scouting for new partners (especially in the not yet covered regions of AoR) according to pre-defined criteria. Motivation and support of best performing partners for regional growth.
Support resolution of potential unclear cases/partner claims (as neutral person) for commercial field-service orders.
Ensure strict follow of RRPS partner contracts and conduction of required trainings according to the internal standards/templates in authorized applications. Monitor the achievement of standards provided from RRPS / RRS ME departments.
Support the transition of Service, Legal, General demands/instructions both of RRPS and RRS SME (like safety/anti-bribery, etc regulations and policies) necessary for conduction by partners. Able to advise the partners investigation (with local or external resources) , in case of negative information from market or substantial break of RRPS or internal RRS ME standards
Responsible for planning of training courses at HQ/local training centers in relation to partners needs/requirements. Development of additional network management offerings. Support partners in the resolution of their needs
Responsible for consistent internal documentation and filling of decisions, network related contracts/report/protocols and reviews (including audits) according to the SME and RRPS regulations. Ensure collection of required approvals according RRPS network management standards
Work in close cooperation with Service and Sales department colleagues to meet end-customer customers’ requirements and achieve business plan
Take/execute the role of "neutral person" reviewing service partners claims against RRS ME and presentation of partners interests within RRPS (both local and HQ)
Ensuring that the partner network strategy is executed in a coordinated and aligned manner with the Head of Sales and Service Operations at Rolls-Royce Solutions Middle East.
Reporting and providing regular updates to the Managing Director SME on the Middle East Network status and strategic developments, ensuring full alignment between Network EMEA and the local Rolls-Royce Solutions Middle East organization.
Qualification/ Experience And Competencies
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in management/business/engineering.
Experienced in network or distribution management of an international company. Proven record of successful partner management and effective communication/problem-solving
Proven record of building good business relationships with senior management at distributors, customers, and consultant organizations.
Experience in international sales of technical products (service-related experience is a plus). Proven expertise management of team and conflict management.
Knowledge of contractual law is desirable.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Self-starter with the ability to work extended periods without supervision.
Exposure in dealing with multiple challenging partners requests
Computer skills and knowledge of Windows-Office programs
