Senior Rigger (×1)

RIGGING & STAGING

Reports to	Rigging HOD
Department	Rigging & Staging
Direct reports	None (crew chief on assigned jobs)
Location	Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi (heavily on-site)

Role summary

Senior on-site rigger leading rigging crews on most jobs. Reviews drawings, supervises rigs, signs off loads.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rigging build on assigned jobs.

• Review drawings and load calcs against on-site conditions.

• Supervise stagehands and freelance riggers.

• Conduct pre-show safety inspections and sign off loads.

• Hands-on rigging work including bridle calculations, motor positioning, hoist control.

Qualifications & experience

• 6+ years professional rigging.

• Recognised rigging certification (ETCP, NRC, IRATA, or equivalent).

• Hoist control / chain motor experience.

• Strong communicator under pressure.

KPIs

• Zero safety incidents

• On-time rigging build completion

• Crew development
