As a Network Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our networking systems, which underpin the operations of our entire organization. Responsibilities

• Design and implement network configurations and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly.
• Monitor network performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement new networking solutions.
• Maintain and administer perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular network performance tests and optimize network configuration settings.
• Document network configurations, design changes, and maintenance activities thoroughly.
• Support network upgrades and network capacity improvements as required.
• Respond to and manage complex network incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Analyse and resolve network hardware and software problems promptly and efficiently.
• Stay updated with new networking technologies and their potential applications to improve system performance.
• Assist in developing and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, MPLS, and BGP.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with security concepts and technologies, including VPNs and firewalls.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly desirable.
