Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the organization’s local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
• Install, configure, and support network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Create and update network documentation including network diagrams, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with other IT staff and vendors to facilitate network upgrades and expansions.
• Analyze and evaluate network traffic to improve system performance and capacity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT members.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery operations to safeguard network data.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging network technologies and industry trends.
• Assist in network design and strategy planning to align with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures to meet security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role in IT.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware components.
• Experience with network security and understanding of firewall configurations.
• Ability to perform network monitoring and analysis using various tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
