The Procurement Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the company's purchasing activities. Responsibilities

  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships to enhance service levels and reduce procurement costs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all purchasing activities.
  • Prepare and manage the department's procurement budgets and forecasts.
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand and meet their purchasing needs.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and devise strategies to mitigate them.
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services for the organization.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality.
  • Stay informed of the latest trends and advancements in the procurement field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with contract management and supplier management software tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
