MEP Supervisor (225-618)

An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a construction project or building. The MEP Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that all MEP operations align with the project plans, specifications, and client requirements, while also complying with safety standards and regulations. This position requires a high level of expertise in MEP systems, project management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The MEP Supervisor will also act as the main point of contact for interfacing with clients and coordinating with other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing team.
• Ensure MEP systems are installed in accordance with design specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all MEP systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute MEP activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to MEP systems promptly.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications for MEP installations.
• Monitor project progress and report on team performance and work quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within MEP operations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of materials and equipment.
• Prepare and present reports on MEP operation status to senior management.
• Manage and train staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Estimate and control budgets for MEP equipment maintenance and repair costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field is required.
• Minimum of five years' experience in supervising MEP site operations is essential.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of MEP systems, installations, and maintenance.
• Proven experience in managing and leading teams with effective results.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with MEP project management tools and software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines efficiently.
