Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented MEP Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the successful execution of MEP projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position demands a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including contractors, architects, and clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, demonstrate strong analytical abilities, and have a proven track record of managing complex projects within the construction industry. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee MEP project development from conception to completion.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget limits.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors on project specifications.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site inspections and liaise with construction teams on progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety standards.
  • Manage and resolve engineering problems that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with MEP engineering projects.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including project reports and compliance records.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in MEP engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in MEP project engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in using MEP design software and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction management processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to interpret structural and architectural design drawings accurately.
  • Valid professional engineering license or certification is highly preferred.
