MEP Engineer (Interior Fitout )

The MEP Engineer for Fit-Out Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems integration within interior fit-out works. The role ensures that all MEP installations are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Or Related Discipline)
• 2 – 4 years professional experience in interior fitout works (UAE), with a focus on project management

·      Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

·      Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.

·      Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design tools (e.g., Revit, etc.)

·      Excellent organizational and communication skills.

·      UAE driving license is mandatory.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences in detail, including any special considerations or concerns.
• Coordinate MEP activities with architects, civil engineers, and interior designers.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs for MEP systems.
• Managing materials and labor costs to ensure that projects stay within budget guidelines.
• Monitor site works and ensure quality control of MEP installations.
• Preparing progress reports for clients on a regular basis throughout the duration of the project
• Manage day-to-day operations of the project site, including on-site staff and subcontractors
• Select and specify all materials and finishes to be used in the project.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
