Responsibilities

  • Participate in ongoing quality assurance and quality control programs.
  • Calibrate instruments and verify equipment performance regularly for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and medical personnel to ensure test accuracy.
  • Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and industry standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory protocols.
  • Educate and train new laboratory staff and interns on lab procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Relevant work experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high test accuracy.
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment and conducting various laboratory tests.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and lab software.
