Job Description

As a Media Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in the marketing and advertising landscape by strategically purchasing advertising space across various media platforms. Your primary goal will be to ensure our messages reach the targeted audience effectively and efficiently, maximizing our advertising spend's value. Playing a crucial part in the planning and execution of advertising campaigns, you will analyze different media channels to determine the most suitable media outlets for promoting brand, product, or service messages. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement innovative strategies that leverage the best possible media channel mix, negotiating the best rates and making sure our advertising messages achieve excellent reach and engagement without excessive costs.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive media buying strategies to meet company marketing goals.
  • Negotiate with media vendors to secure the most cost-effective deals.
  • Identify and assess suitable media platforms for targeted ad placements.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to deliver consistent messaging across channels.
  • Maintain accurate records of media placements and budget expenditures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign results and make recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and technologies in the media industry.
  • Ensure all advertising aligns with legal regulations and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align objectives and strategies.
  • Track competitor advertising tactics and spend to identify opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with media vendors and external partners effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Media Buyer or similar role in advertising.
  • Extensive knowledge of media buying, planning, and research processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills to secure optimal media buys.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Highly proficient with media-buying software and tools for optimized processes.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders and partners.
