Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all assigned mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in equipment and implement effective repair solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering team to improve system performance and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts used.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Respond swiftly to mechanical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine testing and calibration of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Implement effective maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime.
• Provide technical support and training to junior maintenance staff as needed.
• Order and maintain an adequate inventory of necessary maintenance supplies.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for equipment repair and maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to the job.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintenance protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and be available for emergency repairs.
