Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the different technical aspects of the project, estimating resources and costs and working on timely deliverables.They will also handle technical inquiries and enforce health and safety standards on-site.



Responsibilities


  • Assess project technical feasibility and review plans and drawings in coordination with the direct manager.
  • Allocate technical resources and monitor work schedules to ensure progress and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Project Manager and Engineers, providing regular updates on the technical aspects of ongoing projects.
  • Define field testing procedures, conduct quality inspections, and ensure adherence to relevant standards, policies, and specifications.
  • Perform routine safety inspections, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain detailed site documentation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for technical support, offering guidance and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Supervise site labor and subcontractors to ensure productivity and compliance.
  • Address technical issues, including equipment diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with clients and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Vertiv cooling systems (training provided).
  • Support testing and commissioning activities for data center cooling systems.



Qualifications and Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline

PMP or PRINCE2 certification (required)

Uptime certification is a plus

Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC systems

Preferable hands-on knowledge of data center HVAC systems, including:

  • CRAC units, FWU, Chillers, FAHU, VRF, etc.
