Manager Key Accounts Job Description

As a Manager Key Accounts, you will spearhead our efforts to establish and nurture strategic relationships with our most significant clients, ensuring growth and satisfaction. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader adept at building and maintaining long-term partnerships, aligning company objectives with client needs, and driving mutual success. You will be entrusted with the responsibility for the retention and expansion of key accounts, maximizing revenue potential while delivering exceptional service. Your primary mission is to understand the unique conditions and needs of each key account to develop tailored strategies that address those conversant with market trends, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for effective management of key client accounts.
  • Foster relationships with key decision-makers to promote customer loyalty and retention.
  • Lead negotiations and contract renewals to enhance account profitability.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client requirements and solutions.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate client needs and develop proactive strategies.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and report on key areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate to address client issues promptly, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue growth.
  • Prepare detailed account plans to understand each client’s business objectives.
  • Regularly conduct meetings with clients to review progress and address concerns.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network within the industry and related sectors.
  • Train and mentor junior account management staff, fostering a high-performance team.


Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in key account management or sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are crucial.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of achieving key performance metrics and sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and competitor analysis techniques.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.

  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a professional team environment.
