Job Description

The Key Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with the company's most significant clients. This position requires a strategic thinker who can identify client needs and tailor solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention. As a Key Accounts Manager, you will act as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, building strong and long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of major clients, while connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Your role will be to ensure that products and services support and strengthen the goals of the client organizations, and that these arrangements align with the overarching strategic objectives of the company. You'll be expected not only to meet but to exceed company sales and revenue targets by managing and developing these relationships innovatively and efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with assigned key accounts.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact and handle clients’ individual needs effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status and forecast future sales activity accurately.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Track key account metrics, including client satisfaction, churn rates, and profit margins.
  • Assist with challenging client requests and manage issue escalation efficiently.
  • Keep detailed records and documentation of client interactions, negotiations, and agreements.
  • Communicate client demands and feedback to the management to improve services.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to inform clients about potential market changes.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement or upsell potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong experience with CRM software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Solid experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and sales quotas.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-oriented attitude.
