Job Description

As a Manager in International Supply Chain Quality Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the quality and integrity of supply chain processes across multiple international locations. This dynamic position involves collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams, managing quality assurance programs, and maintaining compliance with international standards. You will be the linchpin in developing strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize operational performance. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, ensuring that the organization's products and processes meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements worldwide.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs for international supply chain operations.
  • Lead and coordinate quality audits to comply with international standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and rectify quality-related issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures across all locations.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance best practices.
  • Develop strategic plans to mitigate quality risks in the supply chain.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Report on the performance of the quality system and initiatives to senior management.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is current, comprehensive, and accessible.
  • Assess and implement new technologies to improve quality assurance processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in international supply chain quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of global quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, particularly in a complex supply chain environment.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with different departments.
  • Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools for quality assurance.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
