Job Description

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. This role ensures that all facilities operate efficiently, comply with regulations, and provide a safe and productive environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs
• Supervise facilities staff and monitor performance
• Handle space planning, office moves, and workplace setup
• Respond to emergencies and ensure business continuity planning
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance reports
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• Proven experience in facilities or property management (typically 5–10 years)
