Job Description

A Quantity Surveyor acts as the financial guardian of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget while meeting legal and quality standards . They manage all costs from initial calculations to final accounts, balancing the clients vision with financial reality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Manage the tender process, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure best-value deals.
• Oversee contractual compliance using industry frameworks like JCT.
• Monitor real-time project expenses, track variations (changes to work scope), and prepare regular cost of value reconciliation reports.
• Measure work completed on-site to verify progress claims and authorize payments to subcontractors.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying , construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years; independently managing smaller projects or specific work packages.
