Job Description

The Distribution Center Manager (Job Code: 07D25) plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing all operations within the distribution center. Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of inventory management and reduce discrepancies.
  • Lead, guide, and train a team of warehouse staff and distribution professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Prepare and manage the distribution center budget to assure cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the maintenance of distribution center equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Generate regular operational reports for senior management to assess performance.
  • Resolve any arising issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in distribution or warehouse management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills are essential.
  • Proficient in distribution management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities for managing complex operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with multiple departments and stakeholders.
