The Manager - Accounts and Finance is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and leading a team of finance professionals. As a leader in the finance department, the Manager plays a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures for strategic planning.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations at all levels.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals to achieve organizational goals.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure their accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors and regulatory agents.
  • Manage the organization’s budget process, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for performance enhancement.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to support financial decision-making and budget control.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage expenses, and optimize the capital expenditure process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, auditing, and financial risk management.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, both at local and international levels.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including budgeting and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex finance-related ideas clearly.
