Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall supply chain and logistics operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods. You will coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all logistical operations and processes within the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies and product availability.
  • Supervise inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Implement and maintain logistics systems and databases for efficient operations.
  • Prepare and analyze logistics reports to track and improve operational efficiency.
  • Resolve transportation and logistics issues to enhance service reliability.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers for logistics services.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies related to logistics.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to streamline material acquisition and delivery.
  • Train and guide logistics staff to improve skills and efficiency in logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize logistic processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and clients.
  • Proficiency with logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage logistics duties efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in logistics operations.
