A Logistics Executive is a pivotal role within organizations that rely heavily on transporting goods and managing supply chains. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize order fulfilment processes.
  • Oversee the management of inventory levels to maintain stock availability.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and industry standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers to secure best rates.
  • Analyse logistics data to identify areas for performance improvement.
  • Implement cost-reduction measures without compromising service quality.
  • Prepare detailed reports on logistics operations and present findings to management.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders in the supply chain.
  • Lead and mentor the logistics team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
