Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you play a crucial role in the management of an organization's supply chain. Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transportation companies for optimal logistics flow.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards in logistics operations.
  • Prepare and analyze logistics reports to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Resolve any issues that arise concerning delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize logistics software to optimize supply chain processes and track shipments.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
  • Coordinate with the sales department to manage order fulfillment and delivery timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for logistics process improvements and initiate action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships.
  • Ability to solve problems promptly and effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
