Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is a critical position that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain process. This role is essential for coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve issues under pressure. This position involves working closely with different teams, including procurement, shipping, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all logistics activities to support company operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transportation and logistics operations.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations effectively.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all transportation safety processes.
  • Manage and coordinate import and export logistics and documentation.
  • Track and report on logistics performance metrics and expenses regularly.
  • Resolve any service delivery or transportation issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure efficient inventory operations.
  • Prepare and analyze logistics reports for management to aid decision-making.
  • Collaborate with shipping companies to determine the most cost-effective shipping methods.
  • Ensure all logistics operations adhere to national and international regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and databases for tracking purposes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with export and import compliance documentation and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
