Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline logistics activities.
  • Manage daily shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Oversee inventory levels and monitor stock requirements to prevent shortages.
  • Resolve any logistical problems and manage the escalation of critical issues.
  • Organize transportation bookings and maintain records of shipping documents.
  • Analyze and suggest improvements to current logistics processes for better efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain updated logs of all transportation-related activities and transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers regarding shipment status.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal regulations concerning transportation and logistics.
  • Develop strategies to optimize logistical operations and reduce associated costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software applications.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics regulations and industry-standard procedures preferred.
