Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, The LDM is responsible for translating ABB’s divisional strategy into effective, customer-centric execution—enhancing ABB’s market presence through scalability, agility, and operational excellence. The role also ensures seamless cross-divisional collaboration, delivering integrated solutions that strengthen ABB’s value proposition and customer partnerships.

With a strong focus on profitable growth, the LDM drives both new customer acquisition and share-of-wallet expansion, while optimizing productivity, resources, and cost efficiency. This leadership position demands strategic foresight, commercial acumen, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing, future-ready organization aligned with ABB’s values and performance culture.

This role is contributing to the Motion in {UAE}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Full accountability for sales, marketing, P&L, and portfolio management in the local market, ensuring execution of ABB Motion’s divisional strategy.
  • Drives commercial excellence: builds and executes go-to-market strategies, defines segment approach, sets sales objectives, and ensures KPIs are delivered.
  • Leads revenue growth by acquiring new customers, increasing share of wallet, and ensuring major account development.
  • Optimizes cost structure and productivity, ensuring profitability, capital efficiency, and effective use of SG&A resources.
  • Owns portfolio strategy: develops, manages, and streamlines products, solutions, and services for sustainable growth and market leadership.
  • Ensures effective pricing, forecasting, and competitive analysis, aligning global strategy to local requirements with customer-centric action plans.
  • Builds a high-performing, collaborative organization, fostering cross-divisional synergies while delivering customer value and business growth


Qualifications For The Role

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Managerial experience in leading multinational teams
  • Degree in electrical engineering
  • Leadership and Social Influence
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
  • Financial Knowledge & Talent Management skills
