The Lifting Equipment Inspection Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of lifting equipment used in various industrial operations. • Manage equipment inventory and ensure spare parts are available for timely repairs and replacements.
• Respond promptly to emergency equipment failures and provide on-site troubleshooting services.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to reduce potential equipment-related hazards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in equipment inspection, preferably in the lifting industry.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and industry safety regulations applicable to lifting equipment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively report inspection findings to stakeholders.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions.
• Certifications in Lifting Equipment Inspection, such as LEEA, are highly desirable.
