Landscape Designer

The Landscape Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and developing outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. This includes residential gardens, parks, commercial developments, and recreational areas. The role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, design principles, and sustainability practices to create environmentally conscious and visually compelling landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• Create landscape design concepts and detailed plans for various projects.

• Conduct site analysis including soil, climate, and topography assessments.

• Select appropriate plant species, hardscape materials, and irrigation systems.

• Prepare presentation drawings, 3D renderings, and models.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

• Oversee installation processes and conduct on-site inspections.

• Ensure compliance with zoning regulations and environmental guidelines.

• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.

• Revise plans based on feedback, feasibility, or budget constraints.

• Stay updated on sustainable landscaping trends and new technologies.

Requirements:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in landscape design.

• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong knowledge of plant species, landscaping materials, and construction techniques.

• Excellent visual, creative, and spatial design skills.

• Understanding of irrigation and drainage systems.

• Strong communication and client presentation skills.

• Attention to detail and project management capabilities.

• Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
