Each experience is enriched by a lifestyle setting, you will drive our hosts to deliver exceptional service, creating rich and personal experiences that will create the “voco Life” for our guests. Responsible for all kitchens and laundry machines, and equipment of the hotel, and other engineering repair and maintenance works.
Proper handling of engineering repair and maintenance supplies, spare parts, machines & equipment’s.
Proper planning and implementation of Engineering Maintenance Schedule in-term of kitchen and laundry maintenance and other areas to avoid equipment and machines breakdown.
Immediate action to rectify problem in terms of repairs and breakdowns.
Ensure that all kitchens and laundry machines and equipment of the hotel are properly working and well maintained.
Coordinate with Maintenance Engineer or Duty Engineer regarding the works schedule and get proper instructions concerning the assigned job.
Ensure that all the Engineering Operational Procedures are well and properly followed under the supervision of Maintenance Engineer or Duty Engineer
Submit necessary reports required by Maintenance Engineer or Duty Engineer.
Coordinates with concern departments or sections in courteous and efficient manner before work implementation with the supervision of Maintenance Engineer or Duty Engineer.
Ensure the availability of spare parts and materials at all times.
Any abnormalities regarding machines and equipment’s must be immediately reported to Maintenance Engineer or Duty Engineer conduct necessary actions.
Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient operating condition.
Be a part of Energy Conservation Program of the Hotel.
To ensure safety and satisfactions of the guests.
To keep hospitality and good relationships with the guest at all time.
To attend guest request and requirements as quick as possible.
Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established an IHG Code of Conduct and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
Generally, promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
Demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
What We Need From You
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, and leadership working in a hotel with multiple restaurants with 2 years of related experience in the same role. A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks. Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays. A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco® service standards.
