Job Description

A Key Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in the growth and development of a business. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive account plans to optimize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing queries and concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profit margins.
  • Monitor client account metrics to identify potential areas for improvement or growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of projects.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to revisit goals and discuss progress.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to existing clients.
  • Prepare detailed reports and forecasts for upper management regarding client activities.
  • Attend industry-specific events to network and gain insights into market trends.
  • Assess and maintain a thorough understanding of market dynamics and competitor actions.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align strategies with client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing key accounts or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and client relationship-building strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed set sales targets and objectives.
  • Proven track record of navigating and resolving complex client issues effectively.
