Job Description

The Key Account Associate is a crucial member of the sales and client management team, responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to a specific set of named customers, the Key Account Associate works to achieve account goals while enhancing customer satisfaction. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales and a strong ability to develop long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders. As a Key Account Associate, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.


Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key account contacts and cultivate a positive client experience.
  • Identify customer needs and business objectives to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and the key accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, services, and management resources.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze key account metrics to assess performance against targets.
  • Prepare and present account status reports during weekly and monthly review meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotions for key accounts.
  • Manage contract renewals and negotiation discussions with key account clients.
  • Ensure the delivery of tailored solutions in line with key account needs and objectives.
  • Proactively forecast and track key account metrics to enhance service delivery.
  • Minimize churn rates by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple key accounts simultaneously and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful contract management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand insights, and make informed recommendations.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and adeptness in maintaining accurate client records.
