We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Salesman to join our dynamic team in the freight forwarding industry. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in sales and logistics. As a Junior Salesman, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting our comprehensive freight forwarding solutions. Your primary focus will be on expanding our client base and supporting our senior sales team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, and possess a solid understanding of freight forwarding and logistics processes. Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through various prospecting techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering solutions.
  • Work closely with the senior sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present professional presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits for the company.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings in the freight forwarding sector.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives regularly.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to network and generate leads.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market trends and sales prospects.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Basic understanding of freight forwarding and logistics operations required.
  • Previous sales experience in any industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and grow within the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is an advantage.
