Job Description

The Junior Quality Controller plays a vital role in ensuring that all products and processes meet established quality standards before reaching the end-users. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of quality control procedures, and the ability to identify discrepancies and quality issues in a wide range of production scenarios. As a Junior Quality Controller, you will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with other departments to maintain the highest levels of quality compliance. You will assist in inspecting production processes, reviewing product specifications, and coordinating with production teams to implement improvements. With a focus on continuous learning and professional growth, this position is ideal for individuals just starting in their quality control careers who are eager to develop their skills and contribute to an organization's success.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests on products to verify quality standards are met.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control systems.
  • Document and report any quality issues or failures to senior quality inspectors.
  • Collaborate with production staff to understand quality standards and expectations.
  • Review and interpret technical documents and specifications related to products.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss and resolve quality issues with the team.
  • Assist in training production staff on quality control processes and standards.
  • Monitor production operations for compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on quality inspections and audits conducted.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing quality discrepancies.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing quality control records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry quality control standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of quality control systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite or other related quality management software.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and quality control methods.
