Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT department. As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to all company users, addressing hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of computer systems and networking equipment.
  • Respond promptly to IT-related queries and log incidents in the helpdesk system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff, following the established escalation procedure.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on company hardware and software systems.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and installations for future reference.
  • Help in managing and tracking IT equipment inventory and supplies.
  • Assist in the implementation and documentation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all IT support tasks are performed according to established SLAs.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve system and application knowledge.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in information technology.
