The Junior Interior Designer specializing in Joinery & Fit-Out is responsible for assisting in creating and developing interior design solutions that align with the brand’s vision and client needs. This role involves working closely with senior designers and project managers to support various phases of design projects, from conception to completion. The incumbent will gain hands-on experience in design while managing technical drawings, material selections, and layouts for various projects. Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing innovative design concepts for projects.
• Produce detailed drawings and models using design software and tools.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure design objectives are met timely.
• Coordinate with suppliers for obtaining samples and quotations for materials.
• Support in creating mood boards and presentations for client meetings.
• Ensure design plans meet all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for projects.
• Participate in site visits to monitor project progress and quality control.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve functionality and aesthetic of spaces.
• Assist in preparing documentation required for approvals and permits.
• Manage and update project databases, ensuring all data is accurate.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with interior design trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
