Job Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate joint venture accounting records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with joint venture partners to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for joint ventures.
- Oversee the allocation of costs and revenues among joint venture partners.
- Support internal and external audits related to joint venture activities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline financial processes.
A successful Joint Venture Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in joint venture accounting within the energy & natural resources industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
