The ITIL Specialist is a crucial role within organizations seeking to improve their IT service management frameworks and practices. Responsibilities

  • Analyze current service management practices to identify areas of improvement.
  • Deliver ITIL training and workshops to educate staff and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure alignment with ITIL standards.
  • Monitor and report on IT service performance through defined KPIs and metrics.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by integrating feedback into service management processes.
  • Manage the configuration of IT services to support service management goals.
  • Assist in the design of service-level agreements (SLAs) that meet business needs.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT service management workflows.
  • Support the development of incident, problem, and change management strategies.
  • Advocate the benefits of ITIL methodologies throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL standards to maintain quality and efficiency in service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with ITIL frameworks and IT service management.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and collaboration purposes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation or higher levels preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and IT service management software.
