Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to ensure smooth operation of computer systems, network connections, and software. You will be the first point of contact for users with IT-related problems and will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • Assist users in resolving software and hardware-related technical issues promptly.
  • Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, including networks and servers.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Conduct diagnostics and solve problems to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
  • Document and track issues, resolutions, and user interactions in an accurate manner.
  • Guide users on best practices and provide training on new systems or software.
  • Ensure security measures are up to date and enforce company IT policies.
  • Provide remote support to employees and clients dispersed in various locations.
  • Participate in IT projects, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to resolve hardware or software issues as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain an inventory of technology equipment and software licenses.
  • Stay updated on technological advances to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support specialist or similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software is a plus.
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous.
  • Must be a quick learner and eager to follow technology trends and innovations.
