Job Description

As an IT Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and revenues for our IT products and services. You will play a critical role in engaging with prospective and current clients to understand their IT needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that meet their requirements. With a combination of technical expertise and exceptional sales skills, you will bridge the gap between technology and customer satisfaction, ensuring our clients receive the best possible value and service. Your role will primarily focus on building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating deals, and contributing to the growth and success of our company in the competitive IT market.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new sales opportunities within the IT sector with efficiency and creativity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in client companies.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to align IT solutions with client business goals.
  • Deliver engaging and informative sales presentations to potential and existing clients.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver customized IT solutions.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales agreements that are beneficial to both parties.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT product developments and industry trends to effectively pitch products.
  • Provide ongoing support and account management to clients to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Gather and analyze market data to develop competitive sales tactics and strategies.
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior sales staff to further their development and success.
  • Report sales results and activities to management, providing insights for business improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in IT sales or related technical sales roles is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of IT products and services along with market competition.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in identifying sales opportunities and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently.
