Job Description

The IT Sales Executive is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening client relationships in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT products and services, coupled with exceptional sales abilities and interpersonal skills. As an integral member of the sales team, the IT Sales Executive is expected to identify and capture new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts. This individual must communicate effectively with various stakeholders and maintain a detailed knowledge of the industry to stay ahead of market trends. Through strategic thinking and proactive engagement, the IT Sales Executive plays a critical role in achieving the company’s sales targets and expanding its client base.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the IT industry sector.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective lead generation strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage agreements to close sales deals successfully.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports to track performance metrics.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote company products.
  • Regularly update CRM systems with client interactions and sales activities.
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with product teams to relay customer feedback for product development.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry technologies and product advances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of IT industry products, services, and trends.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a passion for selling.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
