IT Project Manager - Hardware 09D25

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Project Manager with a strong focus on hardware management to lead and oversee key initiatives in our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex hardware projects and will lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality results. As the IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in organizing resources, defining project scopes, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your expertise in hardware systems and exceptional leadership skills will ensure the successful execution of projects that enhance our organization’s technological capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop robust risk management plans for each project.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and deliverables.
• Ensure that all hardware projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for stakeholders and team members.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to ensure project success.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques for management reporting.
• Report to senior management on project status, challenges, and progress effectively and efficiently.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
• Understand and manage the hardware lifecycle and deliver efficient hardware rollouts and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
• Proven working experience in project management with a focus on hardware projects.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with hardware systems and solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a leadership mindset.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines consistently.
• Proficiency with project management software tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
