Job Description

Lead and manage end-to-end IT initiatives that deliver business value for finance and banking operations. Define project objectives, shape technical scope from business needs, and oversee vendor and internal delivery to achieve specified outcomes on time and on budget. Drive requirements definition, process redesign and systems integration while ensuring controls, regulatory alignment and measurable efficiency gains. Present options and progress to senior stakeholders and translate strategic priorities into executable implementation roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and requirements workshops with investment, treasury and banking stakeholders to define measurable objectives.
• Create comprehensive functional specifications, process maps and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
• Develop project plans with milestones, resource allocation and budget forecasts; monitor progress and controls.
• Manage third-party vendors, contracts and delivery timelines to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate system integrations, data migrations and testing including UAT and cutover activities.
• Identify operational risk and compliance gaps and implement mitigation within project designs.
• Recommend pragmatic technology solutions that improve controls, reporting or operational efficiency.
• Prepare executive reports, risk registers and decision materials for steering committees.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IT project delivery experience within finance, banking or investment operations.
• Proven track record in business analysis, systems implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes such as treasury, fund accounting or trading systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and governance forums.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred; business analysis certification advantageous.
• Ability to work in Dubai and engage across multicultural teams in fast-paced environments.
