Interior Designer

Job Summary

Our customer is hiring for the role of Interior Designer. The company is a fast-growing VR-tech-enabled design and contracting firm specializing in commercial and residential interior spaces. The role offers an opportunity to work on innovative fit-out and interior projects across diverse industries while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver creative, high-quality, and technology-driven design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and technical drawing skills for interior design projects
• Develop comprehensive CAD drawings, elevations, and detailed IFC drawing packs for project execution
• Interpret and incorporate tenant manual guidelines into layout designs while ensuring compliance with specifications
• Apply in-depth knowledge of interior elements, building structures, and spatial planning to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs
• Formulate practical, visually appealing, and purpose-driven interior designs tailored to corporate and residential spaces
• Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Photoshop, and SketchUp for design development and documentation
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and possess a thorough understanding of market rates per square foot for cost estimation
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess spatial requirements, structural conditions, and material feasibility
• Ensure adherence to design quality standards and project timelines throughout the execution phase
• Draft multiple layout options for client review, incorporating feedback to refine design proposals
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all design deliverables and project documentation
• Possess strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate design concepts to stakeholders and clients
  
  

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in commercial and hospitality interior design projects.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, outstanding interior design solutions.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical and efficient design execution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of interior design materials, finishes, and building structures.
• Proficiency in technical drawings and drafting, with advanced Autocad skills for detailed documentation.
• Experience in quantity assessment and cost estimation, including preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and understanding of market rates per square foot.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software including Autocad, MS Excel, Photoshop, Sketchup, and 3DS Max.
• Ability to interpret and incorporate tenant manuals and design guidelines into layout planning.
• Experience in conducting site visits, surveys, and ensuring adherence to design timelines and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail in drafting layouts, elevations, and IFC drawing packs with multiple design options for review.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
