Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, experienced, and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to lead collaborate and manage high-end interior design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, design sensibility, and project management skills while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with intra-department, inter-department, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with intra-department, inter-department to understand project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Manage the interior design process from schematic development to final execution.
  • Attend, monitor and provide consultation during Concept, Schematic, Detail & IFC Stages
  • Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for tender and construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections during construction to monitor progress and quality.
  • Review and approve material submittals, samples, and shop drawings.
  • Review and respond to RFIs/TQs post and pre-construction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Guide, mentor and manage junior team members; review their work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the company’s design standards.
  • Ability to interpret and adopt in coordination Architectural, and MEP Designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in interior design, including lead roles on projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of commercial, residential, or hospitality projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and construction methods.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LEED or sustainable design practices.
  • Project management certification or experience is a plus.
