The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering structural monitoring and instrumentation projects across the GCC. This is a site-based role where you’ll be involved in planning and executing instrumentation works, installing a range of sensor types, and interpreting data to ensure accurate monitoring.
You’ll work closely with clients to ensure all activities meet project requirements, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment for yourself and your colleagues. The role requires someone who is confident working outdoors in the GCC climate and who brings a proactive, safety-first mindset to every task.
Principle Accountabilities
Complete the full scope of the Company’s services.
Plan for works prior to site to ensure all stakeholders are aware of the works, and the correct tools and equipment are in hand.
Prepare method statements.
Continuously assess the area for the health and safety risks, reporting back to the H&S executive about any risks, or changes to the site conditions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise on-site.
Ensure all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Prepare detailed activity records from site, including site dairy and timesheets.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards.
Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements. Qualifications and Experience
Strong technical skills and knowledge of instrumentation and civil engineering.
2 years minimum experience in a Field Engineer role.
Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Geotechnical or other similar experience to be considered a specialist.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Driving license desirable but not essential.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
