The Inside IT Sales Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth by engaging with clients to promote IT services and solutions. This professional acts as the bridge between the company's technical resources and customer requirements, ensuring that all client needs are adeptly managed and serviced. An Inside IT Sales Account Manager is responsible for building and nurturing client relationships, understanding their IT needs, closing sales, and ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored IT solutions to clients.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Manage and update customer accounts, sales data, and forecasts regularly.
  • Stay current with industry trends to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales and sign contractual agreements.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by the sales management team.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT sales or account management.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and industry trends is essential.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools is required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
