Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Data Quality Engineer is to support the Data Quality Lead (Informatica Data Quality Specialist) towards realizing Data Quality Lead responsibilities.

Skills:

• Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Expertise: Proficiency in Informatica Data Quality tools, including profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, and matching functionalities. Ability to create scorecards, data quality workflows, and reusable components.
• Data Profiling and Analysis: Capability to perform data profiling to assess quality levels, identify anomalies, and define data quality rules and improvements.
• ETL and Data Integration Tools: Basic understanding of ETL processes and familiarity with tools like Informatica PowerCenterfordata integration tasks.
• SQL and Database Knowledge: Strong SQL skills for querying, analysing, and validating data in relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, with optional exposure to NoSQL databases. Data Governance Principles: Knowledge of data governance frameworks, defining standards, and implementing policies to ensure consistent data quality.
• Reporting and Visualization: Ability to create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to communicate data quality insights.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking to identify root causes of data issues, conduct gap analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Business Process Knowledge: Familiarity with workflows and processes in industries like banking, insurance, healthcare, or retail, and their reliance on highquality data.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to share findings with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Preferred Skill:Related to Informatica DEI
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, a problem- solving mindset, and good time management for handling multiple initiatives effectively.
• Optional Tools and Scripting: Knowledge of scripting in Python or R and experience with data modelling tools like ERwin or Visio can be an added advantage.
• Certifications: Preferred Relevant certifications like Informatica Data Quality Certification, CDMP, or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate can enhance credibility
