• We are seeking a highly skilled ABAP on HANA Developer with expertise in Code Pushdown techniques to join our dynamic SAP development team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data models leveraging SAP HANA, with a focus on performance improvements, code pushdown, and efficient data handling. You will be responsible for building and optimizing CDS Views, developing AMDPs, and applying advanced HANA performance tuning strategies. • CDS Views Development: Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption) to provide optimized access to SAP HANA databases.
• Code Pushdown: Apply the code-to-data paradigm for pushing logic to the database layer, leveraging ABAP on HANA to ensure maximum performance and scalability.
• AMDP Development: Develop and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) to execute database procedures directly in HANA, using SQL and HANA-specific language.
• SQL Script: Design and develop SQL Script procedures to run on the HANA database, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Performance Tuning: Apply HANA-based performance tuning techniques to ensure high system performance, including query optimization, indexing, and memory management.
• Integration: Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate backend development with frontend applications, ensuring seamless data flow and high performance.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of developed objects and troubleshoot issues related to database queries, AMDPs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in SAP HANA optimization and propose improvements to existing solutions.
• Documentation: Provide detailed technical documentation for the solutions you design and develop, including architecture, logic, and performance considerations.
  
  

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development with a focus on SAP HANA and Code Pushdown.
• Technical Expertise:
• Expertise in designing and optimizing CDS Views (Basic, Composite, and Consumption).
• Strong knowledge of AMDP and SQL Script development for SAP HANA.
• Solid experience with HANA performance tuning techniques (query optimization, indexing, partitioning, etc.).
• Understanding of ABAP on HANA code pushdown techniques and how to push logic down to the database layer for improved performance.
• Tools & Technologies:
• SAP HANA Studio or SAP Web IDE for development.
• Experience working with ABAP Workbench, SE80, and Eclipse-based IDEs.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP BW/4HANA, and other SAP tools is a plus.
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of relational databases and SAP HANA database management.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify performance issues and implement solutions using HANA-based performance tuning techniques.
• Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  
  

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Data Services.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform or cloud-based solutions.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
