An HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer is responsible for ensuring that workplace safety standards are met and maintained. This role is crucial in minimizing accidents and promoting a culture of safety in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and engineering. HSE Officers are tasked with developing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Developing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures for the workplace.
• Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigating accidents and incidents to determine their root causes.
• Providing training on various aspects of health and safety to all employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a health and safety role.
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety issues.
