Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the HR Supervisor is expected to support the talent acquisition and onboarding processes under general supervision, and work towards matching the right talents with required skills and experience to the right position. He/she is also expected to be a brand ambassador for Zurich Middle East.
Job Accountabilities
As HR Supervisor, your role will involve:
Providing administrative support to ensure the recruitment and onboarding process runs smoothly, such as:
Establishes relationships with hiring managers, provide guidance throughout the recruitment process and support the hiring managers in making informed decisions
Recruits for positions where the need for a continuous candidate pool exists such as the hiring of UAE Nationals
Builds and maintains recruiting networks with external and internal sources to create a diversified pipeline of talent
Recommend creative recruiting solutions
Screening and qualifying suitable candidates for the vacancies
Coordinating interview schedules and logistics
Maintain regular contact with the candidates on their application process
Preparing offer packages to candidates
Collating the onboarding documents from new joiners and saving them in the respective employee folders
Conducts reference checks and background screening on new joiners
Engage regularly with other departments, ensuring clear communication of timelines
Coordinate relocation logistics if required
Regularly update the recruitment tracker and recruitment management system
Prepare and provide reports to monitor and measure the success of recruitment activities
Maintains recruitment information for audit purposes
Provides feedback and recommendations for the improvement of the recruitment processes
Support university engagement activities such as:
Leads work on talent prospecting by representing the organisation at employment fairs and participate in campus recruiting activities
Develop and manage the overall internship and work experience program
Partner with local universities on early-in-career talent initiatives
Collaborate with our Marketing team to on social media campaigns to promote the Zurich’s employer brand
Contributes to the development and implementation of HR policies and processes
Ensure compliance to Zurich’s governance and internal controls
Participate and support in HR projects
Ad hoc support to the TA Manager
Monitor, distribute and respond to inquiries in the HR mailbox
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll require
UAE national with a family book
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or experience in Human Resources, specifically in talent acquisition
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Fluent in English and Arabic language

Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn and work in other areas of HR to manage peaks in the team’s workload and cover for colleagues as required
