Job Description

As an HR Officer, you will play a fundamental role in supporting and implementing human resources initiatives that align with our organizational goals. Your primary focus will be on ensuring effective delivery of HR services, fostering a positive workplace environment, and promoting alignment between employees' ambitions and business objectives. You will handle HR operations and work closely with managers to facilitate talent management, recruiting, performance management, and compliance with regulations. As the first contact point for HR queries, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a professional demeanor. Your ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks simultaneously will contribute significantly to the success of our HR department and overall company culture.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection processes for open positions across various departments.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Coordinate and lead employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
  • Support performance management initiatives, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure company compliance with labor laws and employment standards in all HR practices.
  • Assist in the resolution of employee disputes and handle disciplinary matters effectively.
  • Facilitate communication between management and employees to promote a positive work environment.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and provide insights for organizational improvement.
  • Monitor HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and propose strategic improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in human resources or a relevant field.
  • Proficient understanding of HR software and tools to manage HR tasks efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and employment regulations is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is considered an asset but not required.
